a Summary, etc Klinik araştırmalar ve tecrübeler, implantların başarısının doğru ve dikkatlice tasarlanmış tedavi planı yaklaşımlarına bağlı olduğunu ileri sürmektedirler. Son yıllarda sıklıkla kullanılan bilgisayar destekli implant planlaması ve bu planlamaya uygun cerrahi stentlerle yapılan operasyonlar, klasik yöntemlere göre birçok avantaj sunmaktadır. Bu vaka sunumunda, maksiller ve mandibular hareketli protez kullanan bir hastanın yeni geliştirilmiş bir stereolithografik cerrahi stent kullanımıyla implant destekli sabit protetik restorasyonlar ile rehabilite edilmesinin anlatılması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu sistem 2 parçadan oluşmakta ve cerrahi frezleri yönlendiren klasik sistemlerin aksine anguldruvayı yönlendirmektedir. Kullanılan bu yeni cerrahi stentin implantların yerleştirilmesindeki hassasiyeti arttırabileceği düşünülmesine rağmen hakkında bir kanıya varılabilmesi için bazı geliştirmelere ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır.

a Summary, etc Research and experiences have suggested that the success of dental implants depends on a well-developed and detailed treatment planning approach. Computer-aided oral implant planning and surgery offers several advantages over the traditional approach and can be used routinely in implant dentistry. The aim of this study was to treat a maxillary and mandibular removable denture wearer patient with implant supported fixed prosthetic restorations by the use of recently developed stereolithographic surgical guide. Unlike the traditional systems that guide the surgical drills, this two pieced system guides the handpiece itself. The recently developed surgical guide can enhance placement accuracy but it still needs some developments before final recommendations can be done.
